DISCOVER
Meet the folks who make it all happen. We see big potential in every moment, & care deeply about what we do every day.
Dr. Lucy Tidd
Veterinarian
Dr. Lucy Tidd is a graduate of Cornell University (BS Animal Science) and Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine. She currently sits on the Alumni Board for the latter institution. Dr. Tidd has a special interest in internal medicine, and she enjoys challenging medical and surgical cases.
Dr. Tidd enjoys a busy home life as well—she has a son named Aidan, two dogs, and two cats. She is also an avid equestrian and has won many national and world titles in dressage.
Dr. Robin Gryskiewicz
Veterinarian
Dr. Robin Gryskiewicz grew up on a small family dairy in northern WI and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science in 2001. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, she worked in a mixed animal practice and then fled to the warmer weather of Maryland.
Dr. Gryskiewicz shares her home with her husband, Bernard, and two small children, Stella and Selma…and two lovable cats, Fernando, and Jack. She hopes to add a dog to the family one day soon.
When Dr. Gryskiewicz isn’t caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, being outdoors in nature, taking walks, gardening and being a Badger and Packer fan.
Dr. Stephanie Blanchard
Veterinarian
Dr. Blanchard was born and raised in Montgomery County and is happy to be at Village Vet of Urbana to help serve her hometown area. She graduated from Penn State University with her Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences in 2015. She then graduated from the Virginia Maryland College of Regional Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She started her career in Suffolk, VA, but decided to move back home in 2023 to be closer to her family.
In the clinic, Dr. Blanchard enjoys surgery and preventive medicine. She is excited to get to know your pets! Outside of the clinic, Dr. Blanchard enjoys walking her dogs Tucker and Zoey, reading books on her kindle, spending time with her family, and relaxing at Lake Gaston.
Dr. Candace Cook
Veterinarian
Dr. Cook joined the Village Vet of Urbana team as a new vet school graduate in the summer of 2023. She is a proud “Double Dawg,” having completed both her undergrad and received her DVM at the University of Georgia.
Clinically, Dr. Cook has a special interest in surgery and preventative medicine. In her spare time, she likes to travel, read, and try new restaurants.
